Who are Forest Fuels?
Forest Fuels have been providing innovation and thought leadership in the commercial biomass space for some time now and wanted to ensure that their growth and acquisitions were represented more accurately online. Also keen to realise more opportunities through the digital channel, FF tasked Tone with creating a point to point lead generation strategy with which to attract more prospects into their sales funnel and to stimulate more sales conversations. With so much noise around energy efficiency, we wanted to highlight the real value they bring to their customer facing relationships by way of consultancy, experience and expertise. Helping clients take advantage of support across greener energy initiatives and providing them with real bottom line savings were headlines that we wanted to emphasise.
Ploughing a new furrow
Everyone’s aware of social media now but perception of its usefulness as a contributor to new business acquisition varies. Most businesses have a Facebook page these days and it’s probably fair to say that most employees now have a LinkedIn profile. What’s not so widespread is an understanding of how to leverage these channels in an effective way. Their paid for advertising systems, for example, are razor sharp in their targeting ability and once we’d undertaken some discovery sessions on Forest Fuels’s typical buyer personas, we delivered a message-resonant campaign to precisely the sort of prospects that could and should be using FF’s services – with almost immediate results.
There’s a message there for businesses that are looking to expand their inbound lead generation capabilities and often the only barrier to it is a diligently planned strategy combined with a good understanding of an audience and how to reach it.
