Offering a high end range steeped in innovation and style, Billi UK partnered with Tone to design a website that more accurately showcased their products and their features.
Letting products shine
Billi’s range brings both style and substance to the workplace, offering customers the chance to have filtered and boiling water on demand but their existing site failed to reflect either the high manufacturing standards or indeed the features and benefits to prospects.
With an ever increasing number of visits originating from mobile devices, the site also lacked a considered responsive environment.
Our brief was to address both of these points using technology that allowed internal site admins to evolve the site over time and to create a site structure aligned with the different personas of their prospect base.
A lead generation focus
In a similar vein to many of our clients, Billi wanted any site investment to help realise more commercial opportunity in the form of inbound leads. For us, this means heaps of discovery on their typical clients before creating a resonant environment across both desktop and mobile.
We’re really happy with the outcome – Billi now have a site that is a hub to their wider marketing activities and with immediate uplifts in site traffic and enquiry numbers, there’s a whole new set of customers for them to “tap” into.

Understanding the audience
Arguably the single biggest influence on the success of a project is the discovery session that we host to really understand the demographic to which a client’s proposition relates. We want to get under the hood of the typical prospects involved in any decision making processes so that site content, imagery and even font families are resonant with them.
Site structure, users journeys and buyer personas are all topics covered to ensure that we’re as familiar with a customer base as the client. For this project, initial sessions were held both in London and Burnley where project teams from both parties met to collaborate and share ideas and knowledge.
A strong sales and marketing asset
Taking an underperforming and outdated site and reworking it so that it genuinely positions a client as a top quality operator is a typical brief and one that brings the whole team huge amounts of satisfaction. Billi now have a strong sales and marketing asset that they are already leveraging to great effect and now have a website befitting the high quality range that it helps promote!
